Which are the schools piloting Full SBB? Will they be taking GCE O-Levels or…?

Picture2

Pilot Schools: We are still working through the list of pilot secondary schools and will release the list later this year before the start of secondary school application process.

Examination/Certifications: Until the introduction of the new national examination and certification framework in 2027, students of pilot schools will continue to sit the GCE O- and N-levels examinations.

Currently, the admissions to PSEIs already recognise the efforts of students who take relevant subjects at a higher level. For example, N(A) students can use their O-level subject grades to apply for the Polytechnic Foundation Programme (PFP) or the Direct-Entry-Scheme to Polytechnic Programme (DPP).

N(T) students applying for ITE Nitec courses are also awarded bonus points for each N(A)-Level pass in pre-requisite subjects. This will continue for all students who take higher level subjects.
