The annual exhibition showcases photographs and videos captured through the lenses of our very own teachers, students, and staff, and the stories behind them.
What is special about the “Our Schools, Our Stories” Photo and Video Exhibition, you might ask?
Here are three reasons why you should visit the roving showcase, which will be held at seven locations around the country from now till January 2024.
Find out what school life is like today!
Wonder how much school life has changed since you graduated? The exhibition offers a glimpse into the rich tapestry of experiences that our students and teachers enjoy.
With the accompanying stories, a clearer picture is formed. Read the narratives of their challenges, triumphs, and shared moments. The exhibition will surely present valuable insights into your child’s school life.
Start conversations and share common memories
As you view the stories on display, perhaps a tinge of nostalgia may set in as you reminisce about your own school memories. What was the most unforgettable moment from your own school days that the exhibition reminded you of?
Share your personal stories with your child and you may learn how things might have changed since then. Encourage them to talk about their own experiences or share about what they see at the exhibition. What are the different subjects, activities, and values showcased in the photo stories?
Keep the conversation going and ask your child about his or her interests and aspirations.
Snap away for quality family fun
The “Our Schools, Our Stories” Photo and Video Exhibition creates an opportunity for quality family time. Other than photo and video stories, the exhibition also has some fun interactive elements – great for photos!
Peer through the kaleidoscope and witness a colourful mosaic come to life. Spot our firefighter standees “in action” or “join in” on a campfire – those are just some of the displays you can find and take pictures with at the exhibition.
Bonus: Be inspired
At the exhibition, you will also find features of remarkable teachers who have made a transformative impact on the lives of their students, and even in the community. Scan the QR codes on the displays and read their stories on what motivates them to give their best to every student.
